Another of our suggested routes, is the Foodie Cycle Trail, starting in Durrow. There are many places in the village where you can grab a cuppa and a bite to eat, but for the purpose of outlining this route, we are listing it, as the route we cycled during Bike Week 2019!
Start: Castle Arms Hotel Durrow, with Tea or Coffee and a scone!
Cycle to Abbeyleix Heritage House, where you can visit the local history Museum, or arrange to have a guided walk of Abbeyleix, which is Ireland’s oldest planned town.

Return to Durrow via Castlewood Farm Shop, where more food and refreshments are available, in the Farm Shop Tea Room, and you can avail of a Guided Farm Walk, or simply explore some of the beautiful farm trails.
